Well, I've just finished the game.
(yes, there is an "end animation)

However, I have not found the following which I suspect do exist:
1) Dragon Helm
2) 4th pair of speed boots

3) Any other armor of Sar (beside the shield)

And, I have not seen the firestaff in DMII either.
