There are 2 major problems with the Amiga mice. 1) One of the rollers (the passive, pressure roller) cannot be cleaned effectively because it cannot be removed from its housing. 2) The "bubble switch" contacts are very poor, and often only marginally functional. Almost every Amiga mouse requires that the buttons be pressed in a certain way (which varies with each mouse), and it is possible to depress the buttons without the press registering.
