The unix utils, mcvert (v1.5) and unsit (v1.5), from sumex-aim.stanford.edu (/info-mac/unix/...) show the GS/OS files to be in stuffit format. No, problem- ShrinkItGS can do MacBinary/Stuffit. But, it can't do subdirectories in stuffit archives (right?) or BinHex. Anyhow I think unsit is telling me that the resulting unBinHexed file I got is a StuffIt disk image: Good. I wonder if ShrinkItGS will handle that? Oooh, can't wait to go home and download it. Evan PS- I have a feeling that the mcvert program posted to comp.binaries.apple2 was in fact a unix binary. Whatever it was, it didn't run on Vax Ultrix. Ftp version 1.5 from the sumex... -- Evan Ron Aussenberg erast1@unix.cis.pitt.edu IN%"erast1@pittunix"
