   There are plenty of factors to consider when figuring the speed of a
computer. The clock speed in MHz just tells how many cycles the CPU can go
through in a second. One must also know just how much the CPU can get done in
a single cycle. I think the 6502/65816 family can access memory in 1/4 the
number of cycles as a 8088 or 68000 family chip. How much the CPU does in the
computer makes a big difference. The Amiga has co's for everything. Sound,
graphics, etc. I think as a GENERAL estimate the GS runs as fast as a 286 @
about 8 MHz.
