Upton NY 11973 Lines: 27 A while back there was a discussion in this group about a nuisance crash (slow death) where pretty much at random the keyboard would stop responding. This would occur most frequently while typing away in WordPerfect. Some people found (as did I) that moving the mouse a little after each keystroke would generally give you enough time to save your file and reboot. Question: Does this occur only with a particular version of TOS? I am encountering this problem now with WordPerfect 4.1 on a 520ST upgraded to 1 Mb and running TOS 1.2. I have an older 1040ST at work running TOS 1.0 and I would like to know whether swapping the two would solve the problem. Alternatively, has anybody ever found a satisfactory solution (software patch) to this problem? And finally is there an archive someplace that saves such solutions to common problems? Eternal thanks to the kind soul that answers my questions!
