I've called a variety of modems -- Multitech, USR and a couple of Telebit T2500s -- but I haven't been able to initiate MNP of any sort. I'm calling with a 1200bps modem, using software that I wrote that doesn't do anything kinky. LiNK consistently reports ``host not responding.'' I had hoped to find LiNK communicating with firmware MNP. If it only works with other LiNK systems, it's not worth much. Has anybody on this net found LiNK useful? Any tips? ---- Steve Yelvington / P. O. Box 38 / Marine on St. Croix, MN 55047 USA INTERNET: steve@thelake.mn.org UUCP: plains!umn-cs!thelake!steve
