      1- make sure that all parameters are ok on ST side
         (including Xon/Xoff disabled and 9600 8N1).
      2- set CRC check on both sides and ASCII/translation level 3
         on HP side.
      3- try sending anything from HP to ST - this SHOULD work
         fine or something is seriously wrong with your leads.
      4- now try sending file back from ST to HP (the same one
         you have just sent to ST) the first time you got NAK
         (or any other error report) in Uniterm dialog pres ON key
         on your HP. Then try again (but do not exit transfer dialog
         in Uniterm) this time you will have a message that the other
         side doesn't accept 8-bit quoting. Just let it continue transfer
         and everything will be fine.

      You can do as meny transfers as you like by step 4 but if you exit
transfer dialog you will have to go to step 3 again.
