I'm looking for an inexpensive (< $150) VGA card that is capable of being upgraded to do 1024 x 768 in 256 colors. Present thoughts are STB PowerGraph or Compudyne 1024 which are available for $149 and $99 respectively at Soft Warehouse. I'd welcome any comments on these or other similarly priced video cards. Initially it will be used on my 286 to drive a mono VGA monitor but I'll be upgrad- ing to color next year. My primary system has a Diamond SpeedStar with NEC 3D and it is spoiling me so I want to do a cheap upgrade on my Herc mono back-up system at the lab. Thanks in advance for any comments offered. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ William W.
