I am stripping off an old original Comapaq that is dead for 3 years, a Video 7 EGA card, hard disk, 5 1/4"drive, and multifuntion board. Question: What is a good vendor to order a base 286/12 without video card or hard disk drive. I have not worked with IBm's for 3 years and I am not trying to assume that I remember everything that needs to be done to accomplish this task. By the way do I need to worry about the differnces between AMI, AWARD, Pheonix BIOS? Thank you Frank Deming fdeming@aecmail.prime.com
