It's PIF loads it with the /r and /nf toggles on (as well as /mono in my configuration), with 400K base memory and a 768K cap on expanded memory. The date on my WP version is 3/1/90 - there have been maintenance releases, but I don't know whether any of it would be relevant to Chuck's problem. Mixing SCSIs and QEMM is a bit tricky. You have to find out where the SCSI bios is hiding and exclude it. You may also need to use the DISKBUF= toggle on the QEMM (try values of 2 or 3). My own experience with this was unsatisfactory for different reasons: I need to load DECNET drivers up there. The SCSI block fragmented my high RAM too much for me to fit them completely. I no longer sanction SCSI peripherals for use with networked PCs. For non- networked they should be usable, but takes a bit of fiddling. -- Disclaimer: Only the Minister speaks for the Ministry of Health, not me.
