Message-ID: <1991Jan1.025240.5631@batcomputer.tn.cornell.edu> Date: 1 Jan 91 02:52:40 GMT Sender: gaarder@batcomputer.tn.cornell.edu (Steve Gaarder) Organization: Cornell Theory Center Lines: 10 We have an old Compaq luggable (8088) whose floppy drive is dying. Does anyone know how much grief, aggravation, and bucks would be required to put in a 1.2 meg drive? THe controller would have to be changed, of course, and I expect a bios upgrade too. Anyone know? Email replies; I'll summarize. Thanks. Steve Gaarder gaarder@theory.tn.cornell.edu ...!cornell!batcomputer!gaarder
