Message-ID: <41774@ut-emx.uucp> Date: 23 Dec 90 01:55:32 GMT Sender: news@ut-emx.uucp Reply-To: wilson@ccwf.cc.utexas.edu (Samuel M. Wilson) Organization: The University of Texas at Austin Lines: 11 Originator: wilson@doc.cc.utexas.edu Quick question: Can WP 5.1 use extended memory? [I'm in one place and my manuals in another]. I know it can use expanded memory using the /r option, but because of other programs which use the extended memory (Paradox 3.5/Reflex 2.0), I'd rather not use EMS drivers. Also, does this strategy makes sense -- using extended and not expanded memory on a cached 386 machine -- or should I switch? thanks, Sam Wilson [wilson@ix1.cc.utexas.edu]
