I have a bunch of PC's , VAXStations, DECservers, and I want to allow the PC's to access the modems on the Decserver's. I realize that I could use SETHOST on the PC, but I want the user to be able to run the comm software of his/her choice. Running an RS232 line from every PC to a DECServer, and then using some of the AUTOCONNECT stuff is out of the question... For al that work I might as well put a modem in every PC... Are there any other solutions I'm overlooking? Please e-mail and I"ll summarize responses and post if demand warrants. -- Jaye Mathisen,sysmgr 410 Roberts Hall,Dept. of Computer Science Montana State University,Bozeman MT 59717 PHONE: (406) 994-{4780,3931}
