The editor "TED" was a feature of the programming column in PC Magazine during 1988. Unfortunately, I don't have the issue any longer or I would give you reference information. My opinion about "TED": 1. It was a ".COM" file: therefore not guaranteed to be supported by DOS under future releases (MicroSoft is pushing .EXE files!) 2. The commands, although configurable by reassembling the file, were less than obvious. 3. It would not successfully assemble using the Turbo Assembler, even when "quirks" and "masm5.0" switches were enabled. I would recommend QEDIT from SemWare to anyone looking for a "small" text editor. This editor is configurable to look like anything you could possibly imagine (and some things you couldn't!)... Anyway, SemWare can be contacted at: SemWare 4343 Shallowford Road Suite C-3 Marietta, GA 30062-5003 USA Tel: (404) 641-9002 The current version of QEdit is 2.10. It costs about $50.00... I Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a FAST CAPABLE text editor!
