Each of the above can be packaged to fit under 1Mb. Thus they can work on the single T1000SE floppy or, if you have the 1 or 2Mb RAM card, that is the better solution. Since 2Mb RAM cards can be purchased for under $350, that may be smarter than buying a whole new machine just to get a hard drive. For wordprocessing purposes, 2.4Mb of "hard drive" seems entirely adequate. Of course if you're running compilers, then 2.4Mb is not adequate, although I have also used QuickC in that space as well.
