Bridge game? Which CPU? Message-ID: <9256.27808e0c@ohstpy.mps.ohio-state.edu> Date: 1 Jan 91 18:26:36 GMT Lines: 35 Dear Readers, I am looking for a (Contract?) Bridge (A card game, involving 4 players; which is the extent of my understanding) program for the Macintosh. My 90 year old grandmother is still going strong and loves bridge, and has often expressed curiosity about computers. I have the idea that these could be combined... Desired features: 1.) A tutorial. Extensive online help. A resonable manual. 2.) The ability to pause games while the system is restarted or shut down. 3.) The ability to synthesize 1, 2 or 3 players, with some adjustment of their ability. It is hard for her to find someone to play with. 4.) A simple user interface. 5.) Easy to read color graphics. I am sure that if I knew more about this game, I could add to this list. If she could switch her machine on, and click on an icon or two from her hard disk and be playing, I think that she would like it very much. I would also appreciate reccommendations for a CPU. Does the LC, with its large (?) screen seem appropriate? Perhaps this program has yet to be written, for good reason. That would be good to know, too. Any help or suggestions would be most appreciated. Sincerely, Mark Frautschi Ohio State Physics Department
