I built rz & sz on a Sun 3/180 running 4.1. I have been downloading files from the Sun to a IIsi running ZTerm 0.85 with no problems (with about 67% efficiency, typically). I have TrailBlazers at both ends talking at 19.2K. I am unable to upload from any Mac to the Sun. It seems that the transfer fails immediately with a CRC error. I have been unable to get a single block transferred. I have tried every combination of options that I can think of & also used different modems talking at slower speeds. My /tmp/rzlog looks like this: argv[0]=rz Progname=rz rz ready. To begin transfer, type "sz file ..." to your modem program Retry 0: Bad CRC Retry 0: Got ERROR Retry 0: Bad CRC Retry 0: Got ERROR Retry 0: Bad CRC Retry 0: Got ERROR Retry 0: Bad CRC Retry 0: Got ERROR Retry 0: Got 0157 sector header Any tips? jwk
