You probably need to convert the game's sounds to the format compatible with the new Sound Manager. To do this, get a copy of Sound Mover 1.62 or later (available by anonymous ftp from sumex-aim and other places). Open a *copy* of the game in Sound Mover and copy the sounds into a new file. Copy the sounds back into the game, replacing the ones currently there. This may fix your problem, if the game's copy protection doesn't complain about changing the program.
