Keywords: IIci memory mgmt Message-ID: <5471@turquoise.UUCP> Date: 28 Dec 90 12:43:41 GMT Distribution: comp Organization: Motorola Inc., Cellular Infrastructure Div., Arlington Heights, IL Lines: 26 A friend of mine was told by his "computer salesman" that Apple has acknowledged a problem of some sort with the memory management on the IIci machine. This has to do with speed of accesses, etc. Is there any truth to this statement? I am still trying to find out why his Panorama DB program which is a RAM based DB system, starts to run slower and slower on his brand new IIci (home) as time goes on until he reboots - but he never sees the same problem on his IIfx (work) with the exact same software (same DA's, ...) any hints? please email thanks and have a safe Happy new year (sober one too).
