Thank you all for the replies to my post. I will answer all and hope you all
will be as helpful as I make my transition. BTW the 512k arrived with a
defective drive, I was most unhappy and got the royal buck pass from the
supplier. I used up 4 calls and at least 1/2 on hold on my dime to talk with
a tech person who didn't hear a word I said. I took it to the Mac dealer and
they said it was suffering from 2 problems and to send it back. Back it is
going. I may have a deal on a Plus.. Comments??? I do want to get going, I
have a technical book I am working on and need to get going.. Thanks again
