i have a number of postscript files generated with Adobe
Illustrator '88 that i wish to print on a generic DEC
postrscript compatible printer we have attached to a Vax
(it can do 11"x17"). i have ftpd and examined the files
on the Vax. they look "ok". i have tried simply printing
the files as normal postscript, and i have tried printing
them after running them through a "Mac" to "postscript"
converter that was posted to the net a while ago (and that
has worked on other documents in the past). neither way
works. can anyone offer any hints concerning how to go about
this? please e-mail, as i don't normally read this group.
