What happens is immediately after the Ehman's access light blinks, the eerie startup sound occurs and the gloomy sad mac icon appears. From its own internal Apple hard disk, the Mac works fine. It's also possible to plug in the Ehman while in the Finder and mount it with SCSI Probe. It works fine in this case. I can also boot from the Ehman off a Mac II. Any ideas what might be causing this? Thanks, Maurice Volaski
