Hello everybody !
I am about Hard Disk format problems.
Last week I`ve got a Hard Disk from my friend for 1000$.
I did`t know which type and capacity.
Now I am using this hard disk with pleasure,
and I know that this is the CDC 94171-9 HD
Capacity 286 MB, Device Block 512 bytes
There are all my steps to format this hard disk:
1. Install HD into NeXT with SCSI number 0 (All jumpers off)
2. Log in in root.
3. In shell type: "sdform /dev/rsd0a".
4. After low level forma type:
              "disk -h myhost -l mydisk -i /dev/rsd0a"
5. After this your hard ready to Build Disk utility.


That all what I know about this problem ...
