I have tried to port the BSD vacation program to the Irix (3.3.1) environment.
The program works but fails to update the database (.vacation.dir &
 .vacation.idx) that contains the names of the users that sent mail.
Thi is a bad thing, because this mechanism should avoid looping and network
ping-ponging.

Is there someone around the net that already solved this problem?
