At the risk of asking a Frequently Asked Question,
what dvi-to-postscript converter does anyone think is best?

Using now: dvi2hp (dvialw) from Allan Hetzel (sysal@ukcc.bitnet)
           No man page, limited functionality

Looked at: TeXPS from Stanford distribution
           *way* too complicated
           couldn't get it to build

Looked at: pdvi2ps (dvi2ps) from stanford distribution
           requires `gf' format fonts - cannot handle `pk'
           didn't handle encapsulated PostScript correctly via \special

Looked at: dvips from a.cs.uiuc.edu
           didn't handle encapsulated PostScript correctly via \special


p.s. Can someone point me to the FAQ if there is one?
