I presume that the dvitype of emTeX will do a dvi to ascii convertion, but after running ``dvitype -pvc file'', it gives something like: setchar110: h:5261094+36409=5625184, hh:=428 etc. etc. I am totally lost. Could someone rescue me? Thanks. 2. I presume that AMSTeX makes math typing easier than TeX itself, but it is a pity that emTeX does not have implimentation of AMSTeX. Then I would ask: 2a) where I can get AMSTeX which good relation with emTeX? 2b) do I need a new set of fonts? [It is good that emTeX uses font library, but it sometimes present a problem to communicate with other programs which use standard font files. I am glad to hear that a dvips program uses the same font library, but many other programs ain't like this. Could someone give me a word of wisdom?] 3) I was informed that the manual for AMSTeX is ``The joy of TeX'' and I was advised not to buy the manual until it is updated. Could someone provide current info?
