We have a Xerox 4650, a new 600-dpi high-speed printer.  I'm going to
need a mode_def for it.  There's not one in waits.mf or ucb.mf, so I
finally need to know something I've always wondered about:

What is the "right" way to generate the magic numbers in a mode_def?

I hope there's a better answer than "copy one from another printer and
modify it until you like the results"..
