Keywords: Metafont Message-ID: <29096@usc> Date: 31 Dec 90 20:51:26 GMT Sender: news@usc Distribution: comp Lines: 14 Nntp-Posting-Host: sol.usc.edu We have a Xerox 4650, a new 600-dpi high-speed printer. I'm going to need a mode_def for it. There's not one in waits.mf or ucb.mf, so I finally need to know something I've always wondered about: What is the "right" way to generate the magic numbers in a mode_def? I hope there's a better answer than "copy one from another printer and modify it until you like the results".. -- Pete Siemsen Pete Siemsen siemsen@usc.edu University of Southern California 645 Ohio Ave. #302 (213) 740-7391 (w) 1020 West Jefferson Blvd. Long Beach, CA 90814 (213) 433-3059 (h) Los Angeles, CA 90089-0251
