This is a stupid question, but...

What is wait3() and how does it differ from wait() ?

Before you flame me, I have RTFM'd and text-searched the XENIX and ISC manuals
to death without a hint. I can't seem to determine it's usage from the context
it is used in in the program I am trying to port.
