I've got a 368/25Mhz with 4M Ram. My COM ports are: COM1 empty COM2 mouse COM3 internal modem practical periperals 2400. I no problems using procomm under DOS. When I run windows the terminal emulater and WNVT???? give me an error message that com3 is being used by a DOS app. Then I get a prompt asking if I want to reassign it to windows. It eventually gives me a setup where it tries to dial into COM1. This is kindof frustrating. Now, things get interesting. Because if I try to use Procomm after this kind of failure, I can send characters to the modem, but I don't get any back. It doesn't echo the number dialing or answer. Also if I run windows in real mode, there is no problem. Any Ideas How to fix this problem? Thanks, Alex. colburn@handel.cs.colostate.edu
