The document had lots of tables with fancy formatting using tabs - these did not turn out well in WfW. Tabs elsewhere in the document were also poorly done. In the end, I found that it was easiest to strip all formatting from the converted document. This is easily done in WfW by saving the document as a text-only file, then reloading it.
