For an app I'm writing, I absolutely need to continue background processing
even when the system menu is opened.  (No, sending a WM_TIMER to myself
every 18 ms won't do it.)  Does anyone have any clever ideas on how I can
rig it so that I have a working system menu which isn't task-modal?
