we took delivery of an SS2 just before the holidays and i tried
getting open windows to run and succeeded only in getting some severe
hangs. i realize that i may not have put everything into getting open windows
running, something about sugar plums dancing and whatnot, but i suspect
that the GS frame buffer may be at the root of this problem. anyone else
report this?? 
in the spirit of the season, please no RTFM. when i go back to work i will
take a longer look at the problem.
