daveed, you only have to remember imbedded commands if you want
very very highly technical braille. the stuff i described to you
is probably most frequently used  commands. now if you had  8.5
by eleven and a half paper instead of eleven by el*ven and a
half you would do this. braille daveed 25 30. or whatever size
the paper's width is. the duxbury scared me at first, but once i
began using it, it was no problem. at least when i call for
technical support, i don't get answers like "read chapter four."
now, i cannot honestly and objectively say that this printer or
that printer is .the best. that's presumptuous. i haven't seen
the romeo, but romeo enthusiasts will swear by it! (after all
they've invested $3800!!) you may say the same about me and the
vp. that's why i say, check  them out for yourself. after all,
you're  the one that has to live with the purchase!! the vp is
noisy. the index advanced gets50 cps. so you've got features
that you may like with all three. the romeo plays music to you
and it's humorous the first few times th hear beethoven's
funeral dirge whenmaking an error,  but you will soon tire of
it. i don't know about enabling's service either. i looked at a
device from them years ago called the mb2400. it was a
diseaster. it was supposed to be the answer to the versabraille
classic. ha! what a joke. i've never been impressed since, but
to be honest, i've only seen that one product. so, deciding
which is the best for the money isa job you musd do for
yourself. i'd take a good look at the index advanced before
committing myself. so that's my advice. let daveed decide which
is best for daveed!!!!
