The article, published in the July 1986 issue of PC TECH JOURNAL, tells how to improve the appearance of the CGA display on an RGB or composite monochrome monitor. It also includes information on how to select the alternate font on the CGA card. My article, on the other hand, proposes the use of a monochrome monitor with separate TTL sync signals for displaying CGA output. The modifications to the CGA card are nearly the same, but the final goal is somewhat different. Mr. Covington, thanks for pointing out your article. The information it contained was quite interesting. Dev Palmer wdp@dukee.egr.duke.edu Duke Electrical Engineering Room 309 Old Engineering Bldg. Durham, NC 27706 (919) 660-5282
