I was asked via e-mail to clarify the distribution status of CLIPS.  A
chat with the CLIPS Help Desk revealed that CLIPS is not in the public
domain.  If there is a copy on the Stanford machine, it should be
removed.

The good news is that Austin Codeworks in Austin TX sells a version of
CLIPS for approx. $50.  I don't know anything more about it than that
sentence, so call them if you want more info.
