I have the book "Expert Systems" by Giarratano and Riley (PWS-KENT
Publishing Company, Boston : 1989) that has a few chapters on CLIPS.

The reason this book has information on CLIPS is that it also came with
a 5 1/4" floppy with the CLIPS systems for the PC.  I'm not sure how
complete a system it is, but seems pretty good and even includes an
integrated copy of emacs.
