I am currently working on designing a DBMS for Internet Address allocations. We have one 'B' type network and one 'C' type network. I want to create the tables, triggers, rules etc. such that it will automatically allocate the next available address for subnets and hosts and also, for subnets create an entry in /etc/gateways and /etc/networks file. I am developing this on NeXT using the Sybase server and NeXT's Interface Builder. And will be implementing on RISC/6000 530 using NextStep. Any ideas and suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Please e-mail responses to me at jay@house.house.gov Thanks in advance...
