Fairfax, Va. Lines: 18 My XT just got added to a local area network (interlan?) running a lousy terminal emulator. It seems to have 2 big problems: 1. When the screen clears, it outputs text quickly, but when it gets too the bottom of the screen, everything SLOWS, and until I clear the screen I get a slow steady line-by-line output. 2. Also, when reading USENET, I can't see subject lines!!! I think it's because my "rn" underlines subjects?? I think I am running NOVELCOM (I just type TELNET DEST, and it's automatic). Does anyone know of any better software or a way to correct this? THANKS! John Baker jbaker@gmuvax2.gmu.edu
