Many times the file passes incorrectly with a very specific error: One of the lines comes out larger by four characters and a few lines later another line comes out shorter by four characters. I would like to know what is the cause of this phenomenon and how can one avoid it (or correct it, once it occured). I am using Microcom AX/2400c modem and work under MNP class 5. Thanks for any advice, Michael Maschler One should observe two rules Department of Mathematics in order to succeed in one's career: The Hebrew University Jerusalem, Israel 1.
