View, CA (415) 960-7300 Lines: 15 Upon reading the current cisco hardware documentation, you might assume that there is a one year warranty on hardware AND software; after all it does say: "All cisco Systems routers and terminal servers shipped after March 1989, are covered by a one-year limited factory warranty. This warranty covers any defects in the hardware, software, or firmware. The customer is also entitled to any software up- dates announced by cisco Systems during the warranty period." I have been informed by cisco Systems that the above is a "typo," and that software is only covered for 90 days. =John=
