We have two VAX3100 workstations (VMS format, I can just see the sour looks on all of you Unix fan's faces) with Black and White monitors. Both workstations support DECwindows (Digitals version of X-windows). However, when we try and enter Patran and enter our emulation device as an X-window terminal we get a nasty message spit back at us saying that our terminal does not support enough colors (I guess two colors is not enough variety for them). Any suggestions as to how we can run Patran on the B&W screens? We don't have any tektronix emulators currently installed. The second question is more recreational. Does anybody know of an archive of .gl files (the animated files driven by GRASPRT)? Specificlly, something that a 2 1/2 year old would get a kick out of. We both like Buggs Bunny. Thanks a lot in advance. (This space will not be used for free advertisement for some prime time animated character picture or some Saturday morning reptilian cult plug)
