Keywords: Hidden line, cubes Message-ID: <7695@castle.ed.ac.uk> Date: 7 Jan 91 23:42:12 GMT Organization: Edinburgh University Computing Service Lines: 11 I want to implement Welltris in Unix for a Tektronix-style (ie vector graphics) terminal. Are there any good algorithms for the hidden-line in the vastly-simplified case that the game presents: all objects are cubes of unit size with faces parallel to the screen at integer coordinates. Anyone who has seen the game will know what I'm talking about: ordinary algorithms would seem a massive case of overkill. Reply by email and I'll summarise. Thanks in advance. -- \/ o\ Paul Crowley aipdc@uk.ac.ed.castle /\__/ "Trust me, I know what I'm doing" - Sledge Hammer
