I have even tried connecting a terminal directly to the printer. I can type in the commands to go to PCL mode without difficulty: serverdict begin 0 exitserver statusdict begin 1 setsoftwareiomode end and it will change to PCL mode. But, when I type in the escape sequence to get back to PostScript: Esc Delete 0 Control-D nothing happens. If I type a formfeed after this, the printer will print a graphic character on the page ejected. Any ideas? -- Jeff Wieland wieland@acn.purdue.edu
