| The Internet user can easily send
| a message to an MCI Mail subscriber.
| The recipient's name is entered
| followed by @MCIMail.com.  All
| address information is entered on
| one line.

| There are three ways an MCI Mail
| subscriber may be addressed from
| the Internet.  Either by their

| 1. Unique 7 digit MCI ID
|    followed by @MCIMail.com
| 2. MCI Mail Username followed
|    by @MCIMail.com
| 3. Formal name as registered on
|    MCI Mail followed by @MCIMail.com

| For example, John Morris could be
| addressed the following ways:

| To: 248-3894@MCIMail.com  (MCI ID)
| To: JMorris@MCIMail.com   (MCI Username)
| To: John_Morris@MCIMail.com  (MCI Mail
| formal name.  Note that underscore is
| required.  Blank spaces not allowed.)

| To guarantee delivery, the MCI ID is
| the most reliable addressing format.
| It should be used when the Username
| or Formal name are common.

| Addressing to an MCI Mail REMS mailbox
| from the Internet:

| The Internet user can also send a
| message to an MCI Mail REMS mailbox.
| The recipient's name and REMS information
| is entered on one line, followed by
| @MCIMail.com
|
| The general rule for addressing is:

| To: Full Name <mbx1%mbx2%EMS_Name@MCIMail.com>
|
| The percent character (%) is used to
| separate the MBX lines and the EMS
| name in the address.
|
| For example:

| To: Sam Smith <Smith%Node1%ABCMail@MCIMail.com>
| is the Internet equivalent for the
| following MCI Mail REMS address:

| To:  Sam Smith
| EMS: ABCMail
| MBX: Smith

| There are characters that require
| special treatment when included
| in an envelope from the Internet.
| These include ()<>@;:\"[]%_/
| and comma and space.  If any of
| these characters are included in
| a REMS MBX line, contact MCI Mail
| Customer Support at 800 444-6245
| for information on how to treat
| these characters when sending from
| the Internet.
