From what I have seen, CD-ROM's at this point offered for the Mac are VERY slow, (In fact, I saw a Sony Offering on a PS/2 and it was flakey as all getout). This leaves me with a few questions someone out there may have delt with already: 1) What's a good CD-ROM Reader, not flakey, "Compatable", (Meaning can actully read CDROMS from different places) 2) What's fairly fast, perhaps even smart? 3) What names are getting good "user" reviews, and why. 4) What names are getting poor "user" reviews, and why. Any personal comments? Thanks for any help you can give, and if I get enough response, I will be happy to summarise to the net. - Shawn Internet: shawn@eddie.mit.edu Uucpnet: mit-eddie!shawn
