I agree with John. I'm not suprised that he has had disk failures - if he has booted with the standard bootblok.s distributed with Minix. This bootblok.s will beat your floppy drive to death. The solution is to apply my "configuration" and separate bootblok.s files. Your disk won't be beaten to death upon boot-up, and booting will also be noticably faster.
