Really, the only reasons to make a new version of a motherboard is to [a] make it cheaper, [b] fix something, or [c] make a new model. I think it's highly unlikely at this point that C= will make a replacement board for the A1000. And they certainly would not use the A1000 casework on a new system, there are lots of problems with that case, mainly noise and production related (nothing _wrong_ with a keyboard garage, of course).
