Lines: 20 I do not think that it is possible to purchase an A1000 keyboard any more since the last A1000 trade-up offer expired (the keyboard was needed to perform the trade-up to the A2000). But you CAN buy the A2000 keyboard and an adapter... it works great. I think that GO AMIGO (the mail order house.... check Amiga World) has the keyboard and adapter ready to go.... But on the repair side of things... if there is an Amiga Repair shop at a local dealer, they might be able to give you a quote for a repair that might be a lot cheaper. Most shops seem to charge between $40-$50 an hour shop time.... Figure one hour on the repair to be on the safe side and between $5-$30 for parts (just a wild guess) and you could come away between $45 and $80 as a conservitive estimate... you could actually get away spending much less if the damage is restricted to one part and it is easy to locate/replace..... only one way to find out. Good luck, -Mike-
