Eventually I came to the realization that the problem was on the mother board of my machine (I replaced the hard drive and the problem remained). My machine is still (for the last three weeks now) sitting at my dealer waiting for a repalcement mother board. The machine would work fine until it started to heat up (three to five hours), then it would start generating checksum errors up the wazoo. If you turned it off and let it set a few minutes (15-20) it would cool down and work flawlessly for another half hour to hour, then more checksum errors. --George -- George
