There is no convenient way to add a directory the end of your search path. You have to RESET and ADD everything back. On UNIX it's simple: $ PATH=$PATH:newdirectory Maybe we'll never see "PATH directory INSERT", but I'd sure like to have "PATH directory APPEND".
